All SAU contract aircraft have wire strike protection and helmets available and the procedures and rules for Personal Protective clothing and equipment make it very clear as to the requirement for low level ops. (consult the air ops manual).

All air operations must be planned however with low level operations planning must be comprehensive and account for the various experience levels of personnel.
